WHAT TO EXPECT
The Children's Ministry at UCC is a safe, fun, and interactive experience designed to engage your child and empower families. Our staff and volunteers work extremely hard to provide the best possible experience for your child as they continue to mature in their faith.
Safety
Your child's safety is our first priority. All KidZone volunteers are interviewed and pass a background check prior to serving. We use a security tag system for child check-in, and pick-up. Additionally, we utilize our own security team to ensure the safety of your child. In case of emergencies we will send a text if we need to reach you.
We want to provide for your child the best we can. To do that, on your first visit, we need the following personal information: Parent/Legal Guardian names, cell phone number, email, children's names, birthdates, grade, and any special instructions (e.g. allergies, special needs). This information is entered in to our database to help sustain our secure check-in system.

Check In & Out
- Check-in for Nursery (newborn - 2 years old) is located downstairs by the Garage.
- Check-in for kiddos 2 years old - 5th grade is upstairs at the KidZone desk.
- If you have kiddos in both the nursery + KidZone, you can check them in all together at either check in point.
- To check your kiddo out, you will need your copy of the security tag (with your family's unique code on it). This allows volunteers to match your code to the code on your child's name tag.
Virtual Options
If for some reason your kiddo is unable to attend in-person:
- 9:30 am KidZone Online for elementary students on Youtube (watch it together and live chat)
- 8 am KidZone online videos for preschool will be available.

This is a ministry for 4th and 5th graders (tweens). We will meet IN PERSON on Wednesday evenings from 6:15 to 8:00 during the school year. Each Wednesday evening we give the kids an opportunity to hang out with their friends, worship and learn about our God, while building relationships with peers and a consistent leader through small group time.
