LifeGroups & Rooted

Church isn’t a building and it isn’t just about what happens on Sunday mornings. University Christian Church is a community of believers who are helping one another bring glory to God. As we do life together, we are striving to grow into Christ’s likeness, serve as He did, and share Him with others.

LifeGroups are our small groups of 8-16 people who meet together - normally weekly - to study the Word, pray together, and encourage one another. Each semester we host Rooted, an 11-week disicpleship process, as an on-ramp to our LifeGroups. While this spring's Rooted has already kicked off, we can still put you in a LifeGroup! CONNECT ACROSS COMMONALITIES

Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered recovery program. It is designed for all of us who struggle to be free from life’s hurts, habits, and hang-ups.  

Celebrate Recovery is on Tuesday nights in the Chapel at 7 PM for worship/message. Men’s and women’s share groups are at 8 PM. Find out more info about the program and connect with the leaders!
Here at The Mom Co, we gather and support moms. We believe in the simple but revolutionary idea that remarkable things happen when moms come together.

The Mom Co meet on the first and third Thursday evenings and Friday mornings of the month  (during the school year). Click here for more info and the registration link.
Women's Bible Studies
There are multiple avenues for that available to anyone interested.

  • 9-11 AM Thursday Mornings - Please email Michelle to get more info! The group will be working through "The Gospel of John" by Melissa Spoelstra beginning in January. 
  • 9:30-11 AM Thursdays Online. Email Laddi for the details - using Zoom is EASY! The y will dive into "Luke in the Land" by Kristi McLelland on January 9, 2025. Be sure to order the book that includes the video access code and watch session 1 ahead of meeting.
  • 6:30 PM Monday Night group meets in the Youth Building.  Please contact  J.J. Brotton  if you would like more information!
  • 7-8:30 pm Thursday Nights.  This group  resumes in April 2025. They will use Rachael Gilbert's "Image Restored" .
Embrace Grace is for single women who are facing unexpected pregnancies. This community will empower and equip women physically, emotionally, and spiritually over the course of 11 weeks (and beyond).

The University Young Adults Ministry is for any young adult in their 20’s and 30’s, from all walks of life, who desire to grow in their faith alongside others. We have biweekly meetings, seasonal events, and spontaneous get-togethers to live life together. We are currently walking through the foundational truths for becoming disciples of Christ. DIVORCE CARE is a divorce recovery support group where you can find help and healing for the hurt of separation and divorce. Divorce Care will take place Thursday evenings this fall - starting September 12.  The cost is $20 to cover the workbook for each participant - REGISTER HERE.
