ROOTED IS THE BEST PLACE TO START HERE AT UNIVERSITY CHRISTIAN CHURCH.  

Whether you are new to a relationship with Christ or you have walked with Him for a long time, Rooted provides the opportunity to connect with God, the church community and your purpose in unexpected, life-changing ways. Rooted is a 12-week discipleship experience that combines challenging content with meaningful experiences to help people discover what it means to truly walk as a disciple of Jesus. Rooted is offered multiple times a year and is the entry point to our life groups.

SPRING 26 ROOTED REGISTRATION IS OPEN!
Weekly meetings for this session will take place on Monday evenings. The nights we will meet are February 2, 9, 16, 23, March 2, 9 (skipping March 16 for Spring Break), 23, 30, April 6, 13, 20 & 27. Each week we'll meet from 6:15-7:45pm, except for the Celebration on April 27, which go from 6:00-8:00. In addition to these nights, your group will enjoy 1 additional outside-of-the-normal-meeting-time Service Project (as scheduled by your small group).

We also ask that anyone who wants to go through the Rooted experience to commit to missing no more than 2 weeks. This is a high-ask, high-commitment experience. But with high investment comes high reward. We also know that this schedule and/or night of the week won't work for everyone; if so, plan ahead as we will offer Rooted each fall and spring semester.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I register and what does it cost?
Registration is easy! Once registration is open a link will be provided that will take you to the registration page. The earlybird cost is $40 per person or $70 a couple, which includes all sessions, your workbook, celebration night meal, and other materials. We understand that for some the registration fee may be a burden and so there are partial scholarships available. We understand that finances can be an obstacle at times. We never want this to prevent anyone from attending or being part of something like Rooted. Find the scholarship app linked below the green sign up button above
Is there childcare?
Childcare is available for children 0 yrs. - 5th grade for our in-person groups. It costs $30 for one child and $60 for 2 or more children. Options for signing up for childcare are provided in the registration process. Childcare one-time fee covers the entire 12 weeks (which breaks down to $2.50 or $5.00 per week!).
What if I can't make it all 12 weeks?
We understand that Rooted is a large time commitment, but we believe it will be worth it to invest in the entire process. If you know that you are going to miss more than two meetings, we ask that you wait until the next session of Rooted.
What is the difference between Rooted and life groups?
Rooted is the on-ramp to Life Groups. Our hope is that at the end of the 12 weeks that most of our Rooted groups will transition into a Life Group. And so if possible, we encourage you to go through Rooted before joining an open Life Group.
Can I sign up with a group of people to go through Rooted?
Yes, your current Life Group can go through this experience together with your current leader leading, or we can help identify someone to lead your group. As well, we seek to honor any requests to be in a group with a specific friend.
