On Family Sunday we gathered to look at what it means to reflect the heart of Jesus in the way we love others. Our NextGen goals — have fun, belong, connect, grow — aren't just words on the wall in the U; they're a picture of what people experienced every time they encountered Jesus. Walking through gospel stories, we see Jesus bring joy into chaos, call an outsider by name, step into his home, and change his heart from the inside out. The campfire on stage said it plainly: there's always room for one more, and you never leave smelling the same as when you came. Two questions to carry into this week: who first invited you to the fire, and who are you making space for now?
