No HSU on Sunday, August 9th, enjoy the night off before the start of school! 

This August at HSU we‘re diving into Collide, a three-week journey through the Beatitudes in Matthew 5, where the values of God's kingdom crash into everything the world tells students to believe.

Culture has a very clear idea of who wins, what to chase, and how to survive. Jesus had a completely different idea and He laid it all out in the most famous sermon ever preached. From the overlooked to the peacemakers, from what we're hungry for to the call to be salt and light, Jesus' words hit different and they're still turning the world upside down.

Our hope and challenge is for high school students to go through the Beatitudes in Matthew 5, understand it’s meaning and apply Jesus’ teaching to their lives.

This month, Collide will be taught at The U on:

• August 16th
• August 23rd
• August 30th

Join us for our Next Gen Fall Kick-Off on Wednesday, August 19, from 6:15–8:15 p.m. at The U. A new school year means new opportunities to Have Fun, Belong, Connect, and Grow, and we can’t wait to begin this journey together. Students in 4th–12th grade will enjoy an exciting evening of worship, games, and community while reconnecting with friends, meeting volunteers, and launching into everything God has in store this year. Pastor Barry will be speaking to all our students this evening!
